HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
The HLTAID011, formally HLTAID003, course will provide the participant with the skills and knowledge to provide a first aid response to a casualty.
First Aid Course Mode & Duration
Option #1: Traditional Face-to-Face
Our traditional 16 hour face-to-face with study time.
Option #2: Online Theory & Practical Session
Work through the online theory component and assessment from your home or office at your own pace. And then bring your 'Certificate of Completion' with you to your Practical Session. Course workbook or On-Line option is required to be completed prior to attending the course. Trainer will check the workbook and if revision questions have not been completed then you will not be able to attend the course session.
You will be able to book into another session at a later date.
Once you make your booking, we will email you your logins to the online course area.
This course runs from 0830hrs to 1600hrs.

Demonstration of practical skills
Role play/scenario work
It is a requirement that learners must demonstrate performing CPR on a manikin placed on the floor
A Statement of Attainment HLTAID011 Provide first aid will be issued by EMS Education & Training upon successful completion of the course.
The HLTAID011 is valid for 3 years and the CPR component must be updated annually.
EMS Education & Training trainers deliver this course.
They are all qualified with Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and have relevant industry experience as a Registered Nurse or a Registered Paramedic.

How long is your first aid course valid for?
The First Aid component is valid for 3 years from your course.
The CPR component should be updated every 12 months to keep your certification valid.
